The OSU Percussion Ensemble completes their ’07-’08 season with two final upcoming performances. On Monday, May 19 the ensemble will present a performance that will feature doctoral student David Wolf as soloist on Bob Becker’s Mudra. Wolf has served as the percussion studio’s teaching associate for the past two years, and will graduate this spring with the DMA (Doctorate of Musical Arts) degree. Also featured will be the work of ACCAD student Matthew Bain, who will graduate this spring with a MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) degree and will begin employment with Dreamworks in July.

On May 27 the ensemble will present a free outdoor pops concert featuring novelty ragtime selections and other ‘light’ classics. This performance will take place on the oval across from Weigel Hall (rain site is Weigel Auditorium).
